Committed Adventure Training

What’s the Purpose of Life?
I really can’t answer this question for you, but during an adventure race you will have about 8-10 hours to think about it. And believe me, you’ll question the existence of life while doing an adventure race. (“What the heck I am doing out here?”)

What is Adventure Racing?
Adventure racing is not for the faint of heart. This could be one of the most challenging things you do. A team of 4 persons will travel along a course of checkpoints that are located using UTM (longitude and latitude) coordinates on provided map. Teams will race along the course using mountain bikes, kayaks, trail running/trekking, and rappelling in any random order determined by the race director (each year is a different course). Teams race the entire course together ... it is not a relay event.
